Beronda Montgomery, a world-renowned plant scientist, will be the guest speaker for a Department of Plant and Microbial Biology seminar. Montgomery is a phenomenal speaker and an outspoken advocate for diversity and inclusion. She wrote a delightful new book, “Lessons from Plants,” that is a must-have for plant lovers and those interested in diversity. Montgomery is the Foundation Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University.
