Yes!... There IS an app for that! Plant disease diagnostic with a smartphone is here thanks to the work of an interdisciplinary team out of North Carolina State University. Join us on Centennial Campus to learn from Plant Science Initiative (PSI) Launch Director, Stephen Briggs how the PSI will build interdisciplinary teams to create next-gen plant science applications. And, witness what collaborative innovation looks like with a demo of the smartphone plant diagnostic from one of its inventors, Dr. Qingshan Wei. This meeting at The Entrepreneurship Garage on Centennial Campus will be capped at 50 and requires registration via MeetUp. The event space for this meeting was sponsored by North Carolina State University's Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics with special support from the Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program.
