Smart cities are even smarter when they’re part of a smart region. Environmental events, traffic, crime, are all examples of phenomena that don’t stay neatly within a jurisdiction’s borders. But how do you share data across municipal and county borders when everyone has a different system and different vendors?
Join Jim Gray and Karen Lindquist of Green Stream in a discussion about an Alert2-based technical architecture for sharing data across borders, being piloted in North Carolina’s Triangle region. They’ll discuss the first use case: sharing stormwater and precipitation sensor data. And they’ll invite you to brainstorm other use cases the approach could be applied to.
