Straw Bale Gardening (3/15)

Learn how to fruits and veggies using straw bales. Perfect for those with limited or contaminated or disease-prone soil!

Growing a successful vegetable garden is challenging enough if you have terrific soil in which plants thrive, but with poor soils it can be virtually impossible. Straw Bale Gardening allows anyone, even those with the worst soil conditions, to grow a terrific garden that is productive and much less labor intensive. Let us teach you how!

Join the Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers of Durham County to learn gardening tricks and tips at the Briggs Avenue Community Garden. Session led by Georganne Sebastian.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Parking is available along the street, and please bring your own chair. There is a limit of ten people per class.

This class is part of the Bull City Gardener Learning Series and is open to everyone.
