Mushroom Log Workshop (1/25/22)

Learn how to grow shiitake mushrooms in your own backyard! We’ll teach you how to prepare and inoculate your own log, promote mushroom growth, where to store, when and how to harvest, and more. All materials will be provided and you’ll go home with your own inoculated shiitake mushroom log! This event will be hosted at the DPS Hub Farm, an outdoor facility for environmental education owned and operated by Durham Public Schools. We will include time for a brief tour of our facility.

Choose from multiple ticket types depending on whether you want to take home one or two inoculated logs.

All tools will be provided, but if you have a drill, 5/16″ bit, angle grinder, or hammer please bring it

COVID-19 protocols will be followed, including mask wearing and social distancing.

Please Note, each ticket is for one participant, regardless of number of logs.
