The Certified Master Naturalist Volunteer program prepares volunteers for stewardship, advocacy, education, and citizen science projects with leading environmental organizations in the Triangle. Students will receive a combination of fifty hours of classroom and field instruction, and increase their impact by being matched with a environmental organization.

Training will begin January 2024, with classes held monthly on Saturdays from 9 am to noon throughout the year. Classes will be administered by NC Cooperative Extension, Chatham and Durham County Centers, and will feature specialists from around the region.

Join us to learn more about the program and receive your application for the 2024 training class. Attendance at an information session is required to apply.
