Grafting Workshop

February 11 @ 10:30 am - 11:00 am

Join us to learn how to graft your own trees to produce both flowers and fruit.

Do you want fruit trees but have little room to grow multiple varieties? Learn the cleft grafting method commonly used to add a different variety onto an existing fruit tree so that both varieties produce flowers and fruit.

After the workshop, join us for our annual scion exchange from 11am to 12pm. February is the perfect time for winter pruning. Instead of composting the discarded branches (scions), exchange them with other orchardists and pick up some new-to-you varieties.

Visit https://trianglefruitandnutgrowers.weebly.com/collect-scions.html for instructions on how to collect scions or email KatCauseyEMGV@gmail.com.
