Durham 4-H Summer Fun – Virtual Babysitter Training Camp

Our Virtual Babysitter Training Camp is designed to empower young people to start their own babyistting business. This camp, offered to youth 9-14, will cover basic childcare skills and an introduction to CPR and First Aid. Instruction for the camp will occur through Zoom, lead by Denise Rich, a long time instructor for Durham County Extension’s 4-H Summer Fun programs. This five day course will include two sessions each day from 9-10:30, followed by a lunch break, and resuming again from 12:30-3:00. Participants must also enroll on 4-H Online. Only ten spots are available for reservation due to the specific needs of a zoom-led course. Participants will recieve a babysitting binder and a small first aid kit, which can be picked up from the Cooperative Extension Building.
