Application Deadline: Venture Winston Grants

Venture Winston Grants facilitates disruptive innovation by providing early-stage startups with a non-dilutive $50,000 grant and an infrastructure of support, connections, and resources.

Venture Winston Grants go beyond providing funds; they lay the foundation for your future success. The program is currently accepting applicants within the fields of:

• Nutrition & Agriculture
• Aviation & Aerospace
• Health & Well-Being

Venture Winston Grants supports entrepreneurs who have the potential to shake the status quo, but are lacking the resources and guidance needed to develop and build MVPs. Members of the cohort will receive $50,000 in non-dilutive, non-equity grants. In addition to funds, entrepreneurs will have a personal mentor and team helping them throughout the program, free office space, and access to a network of industry leaders and investors through our partnerships with the New Ventures Accelerator and Winston Starts Incubator.

The program is accepting applicants from across the country, but applicants must be prepared to move at least 51% of operations and a co-founder to Winston-Salem for one year.

VWG’s application window is open from May 1, 2021-June 30, 2021. The team will complete a detailed selection process to determine 10-20 top disruptors and announce the cohort on Nov 1, 2021.

The inaugural cohort will begin in Winston-Salem, NC on Jan 31, 2022.
